정안뉴스 안정주 기자 | 주한외국기업연합회 KOFA (대표, 김종철)은 세빛섬 플로팅아일랜드 연회장에서 개최된 정기총회에서 KOFA 소속 산업통상자원부 소관 (사)주한글로벌기업대표이사협회 GCEO 신임회장에 조영빈, Autoform Engineering Korea 대표이사 와 Bastian Roesler , Plasmatreat Korea 대표이사가 공동회장으로 선임됐다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사는 서울지방국세청 등 정부인사들과 주한네델란드상공회의소및 주요 주한외국계상공회의소 임원들과 GCEO 정회원사들이 참석했다.
조영빈 오토폼엔지니어링코리아 대표는 영국 에섹스 대학교에서 경제학학사, 경희대 경제학박사 학위를 취득 했고 1997년 다쏘시스템코리아 재무팀 매니저를 거쳐 2007년 부터 다쏘시스템코리아 대표이사 사장으로 25년간 재직하고 이후 2022년 10월부터 현재까지 오토폼엔지니어링코리아 대표이사로 재직하고있다.
오토폼엔지니어링코리아는 프레스 금형 제작과 박판 성형에 활용되는 소프트웨어 솔루션을 개발·판매하는 스위스 기업으로 14개 국에 지사를 두고 있다. 시뮬레이션을 통한 설계, 엔지니어링 및 제조 프로세스의 신뢰성 검증 분야에서 경쟁력을 갖고 있다는 평가를 받는다.
또한 조영빈 대표는 성균관대학교 복합재료동시설계산업기술거점센터 교수로 학문연구에도 기여하고있으며 2024년도 6월에는 국립창원대학교와 글로컬 산업기술거점센터 개소를 하면서 200억 원 규모 소프트웨어 기증한바있다.
바스티안 플라스마트리트코리아 대표는 독일국인으로서 글로벌 물류 솔류션 기업 DB SCHENKER India 와 DHL China 와 Korea에서 근무후 LESCHACO Korea에서 7년 9개월의 지사장직을 거쳐 현재 Plasmatreat Korea 대표이사로 재직중에 있다.
플라스마트리트코리아는 2017년에 설립됐으며 그 이후로 독일의 혁신적인 플라즈마 시스템 기술을 한국의 고객들에게 제공하고 있다.
한편 주한외국기업연합회 KOFA는 한국에 진출한 외국인투자기업의 대표이사들로 구성된 산업통상자원부 소관 (사)주한글로벌기업대표이사협회 GCEO와 주한외국인투자기업의 인사담당 임원 및 실무팀장들로 구성된 고용노동부 소관 (사)주한외국기업인사관리자협회 와 서울특별시 소관 (사)주한외국기업상공연합회를 운영하고 있으며 주한외국상공회의소들과 긴밀한 협력관계를 하고있다.
현재 약 600여개 회원사 네트워크를 보유하고 있고 산업통상자원부 및 고용노동부 와 서울시, 경기도 등의 지자체 정부조직과 긴밀한 소통 창구의 역할을 하며 17,000 여개 주한외국인투자기업의 경영정보제공과 각종 실태조사 및 연구.조사 등을 통하여 외국인투자기업의 경영자들과 정부의 가교 역할을 하는 기관이다.
또한 KOFA는 매년 서울시 소재 대학 및 전국 권역별 대학들과 연대하여 청년고용촉진을 위하여 대학별 캠퍼스 리쿠르팅 , 외국인투자기업 , 글로벌기업 취업박람회등을 공동주관 해오고 있고 매년 주한외국기업 및 글로벌기업들의 인사담당들이 직접 참여하는 급여 서베이 및 복리후생 실태조사를 담고 있으며 17,000여 주한외국기업들의 상세한 정보를 매년 업데이트 하고 그외 각종 인사.노무 ,세무,마케팅등의 고급경영자료들을 한국지사장들 과 인사당담 임원들에게 제공 하고 있다.

KOFA (CEO, Kim Jong-cheol) of the Korea Foreign Business Association announced that Cho Young-bin, CEO of Autform Engineering Korea, and Bastian Roesler ,CEO of Plasmatreat Korea were appointed as co-chairs at the regular general meeting held at the Floating Island Banquet Hall on Sebit Island.
The event was attended by government officials such as the Seoul Regional Tax Office, executives of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Korea and major foreign-based chambers of commerce in Korea, and full-time GCEOs.
Cho Young-bin, CEO of Autoform Engineering Korea, earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Essex University in the UK and a doctorate in economics from Kyung Hee University.
After serving as Dassault Systèmes Korea's finance team manager in 1997, he has served as CEO for 25 years since 2007 and as CEO of Autoform Engineering Korea from October 2022 to the present.
AutoForm Engineering Korea is a Swiss company that develops and sells software solutions used in press mold manufacturing and thin plate molding and has branches in 14 countries.
It is evaluated as competitive in the field of reliability verification of design, engineering and manufacturing processes through simulation.
In addition, CEO Cho Young-bin is a professor at Sungkyunkwan University's Complex Materials Simultaneous Design Industrial Technology Base Center, contributing to academic research, and in June 2024, he donated 20 billion won worth of software while opening the National Changwon University and the Glocal Industrial Technology Base Center.
Bastian, CEO of PlasmaTreat Korea, is a German and currently serves as CEO of PlasmaTreat Korea after working at global logistics solution companies DB SCHENKER India, DHL China, and Korea, and serving as a branch manager for LESCHACO Korea for 7 years and 9 months.
PlasmaTreat Korea was established in 2017 and has been providing Germany's innovative plasma system technology to Korean customers ever since.
Korea Foreign Enterprise Association [KOFA] is a commerce chamber of foreign enterprises in Korea that was established in October 1999 as a community. KOFA operates two non-profit corporations.
KOFA Global Enterprise CEO Association [KOFA GCEO] is an organization composed of CEOs of foreign enterprises in Korea and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Korea Foreign Enterprise HR Association [KOFA HR] is an organization composed of HR executives and team leaders of foreign enterprises in Korea and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
KOFA currently has a network of about 600 member companies and serves as a close communication channel with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and local government organizations such as Seoul and Gyeonggi-do.
It also serves as a bridge between managers of foreign investment companies and the government by providing management information on more than 17,000 foreign investment companies in Korea and conducting various surveys and research & investigation.
In addition, every year, it has been co-organizing campus recruitment by university and foreign investment company and global enterprise job fairs to promote youth employment in cooperation with universities in Seoul and other regions of the country.
